Street fair guy: summer incarnate

I found these shots of this guy on latfh.com. I'm not sure why they included him over there not once, but three or four times. No one else got that treatment; maybe somebody liked him (LOL). It was apparently taken at some street fair, somewhere; I don't know when.

He lost his britches somewhere along the line. Modern clothes are awful; he needs a toga and some vine leaves --> instant Dionysus!


ETA: If I would have been regularly reading Chubarama, I'd have known that this fine fellow is Darren (Dale) Mabee, of the band We Are the Seahorses. Apparently he is quite as bacchanalian as I suspected.

i've seen pictures of him on look at this fucking hipster (http://www.latfh.com/), on which blog he is referred to as "beans." i thought he was very cute-- nice to know he has an identity other than "beans, the fucking hipster." ^-^
